So, how are things going in Taiwan?
I had a really tight schedule during my first few days in Taiwan.

On June 19th I arrived in Taipei around lunch time, immediately rushed to Hsinchu, and went shopping with my dear friends: 小宇、howfun、藍霙、餃妹
Yep, Girls' Time! He he!
It's been such a long since we last met! (obviously)
Howfun bought a nice dress for the party tomorrow, and I just enjoyed spending time with them agian^^

On June 20th, I finally got a hair cut after having a wild hair style for a year...
Ok, now I feel fresh and young again :p
Today we had our 謝師宴, which can be translated literally as the "Thanks teacher banquet." It's like a farewell party to express our gratitude to our professors.
玉婷 drove us there, which was pretty cool. (Most people went by a scooter)
Quite a few professors attended this party.
We had a nice buffet and karaOK.
And, of course, many many pictures!

I also brought Swede's favorite Candy and let everyone taste some.
As expected, it wasn't popular at all, ha ha ha.
I hope the professors won't hate me because of that candy :p
It was indeed a very enjoyable evening!

June 21st was my commencement.
In the morning, me an some friends walked around the campus taking pictures.

I can't believe that I've graduated!
It seems as if I just entered NCTU yesterday!
I can still recall my crazy freshman days, diligent sophomore year, and stressful junior year in NCTU.
And when I think about those days, I smile :)

But my day wasn't that simple.
In the afternoon, I rushed back to Taipei to attend the information meeting for freshmen in Stanford.(新生說明會)
The meeting was held by STSA - Stanford Taiwanese Student Association
I met Ashly (薰文) there and she hasn't changed much. (Just as picky about food as ever :p)
I met many future schoolmate as well as some students that are already studying in Stanford.
But I didn't have enough time to stay and chat with them after the meeting, because I had to meet Mommy and go back to Hsinchu to attend my commencement, which started at pm7:00.

We had a quick dinner in NCTU, and then I met the members of Focus POP 6th at pm6:00.
We took pictures together and we also revisited our club office (社窩).
Many memories came back to me when we entered that small, cozy room.
I guess it's quite cool that I actually still remember the code to the door!
It has been printed into my mind...
We had good times and hard times here, but now that everything is over, all memories are sweet when I recall them.

Then I met my so called "family members" (家族), which is actually a group of people in our department.
They gave me a kind of funny but quite useful gift, and of course, we took pictures together.
The commencement ceremony itself was actually kind of boring...
But, well commencements, they're just like that, right?.....

After the ceremony, there was a firework show in front of the administration building.
I met Clark and L there!
And then Cathy also showed up and they contacted Leo.
The Chalmers gang reunion!
Too bad I missed William, but I got his balloon, he he.
Anyways, it was quite a loooong but joyful day :)

OK, so, all in all, how is Taiwan?
Well, it's just the same as it has always been.
Extremly humid and the streets aren't as beautiful as that in Europe....
Actually, my allergies are coming back again...(They were temporarily cured by Sweden's clean environment.)
But my knees have stopped paining, which I would consider as good news.
Anyway, the conclusion is: I'm doing good here!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know why, but this verse suddenly comes to me:
"For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance"
共勉之 :)
