Today we had a reunion activity for students who have been to Chalmers and those who are about to go there this summer.
It's always fun to share experiences with others.
I feel great when I can help them or give them some advice in any way.
I hope that the new NCTU Europe members will have a smooth and fun year in Sweden.
Good Luck and have fun!
The Chalmers students who are taking the Mandarin course have already arrived and started learning Chinese in NCTU. Three of them visited our event and me, leo, and Rymer chatted a lot with them.
As usual, one of the first words they learned was: 包子
It's interesting to hear about their impressions on Taiwan, where they've been having fun, what things they have experienced and so on.
I was glad to hear that all of them have a very good impression on Taiwan so far. People are very friendly and willing to help. (People try their best to help out even if they can't speak much English.) Not to mention their nice office :p
Even eating is exciting for them now, because most of the time they can't understand the menu; so they just order randomly and see what they get.
They also talked about a few kind of wierd experiences..... (Probably better to not mention those....)
Anyway, we chatted for quite a long time, and left at around 16:30.
It was a very nice afternoon. But I have a sore throat now.... (too much talking these two days, ha)
Wish everyone an enjoyable and exciting summer! (including myself :p)
